Our unique phantom manufacturing process incorporates sophisticated production of nano-polymer elements that mimic tissue elasticity, attenuation, speed of sound, tissue recoil, friction with guide-wire and catheter, tissue resistance with respect to the needle, dilator and catheter. Vessel layers are made of arrays of polymer filaments, not silicon or plastic tubes.

The materials and fluid used in the model are inert with no toxicity. To further minimize any possibility of allergy the model is covered by an inert gloss of 3 micrometer thickness.
